Paris Jackson demands $600m from Michael Jackson's estate and accuses executor of withholding the children's inheritance for 17 years

Paris Jackson, 28, has filed court documents in Los Angeles accusing estate executor John Branca of maintaining an 'iron grip' over her and her brothers Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24, keeping their family trust wholly unfunded since Michael Jackson's death in 2009. The petition, filed 29 October in Los Angeles Superior Court, demands a judge order a $600 million partial distribution to the Michael Jackson Family Trust.
Under the trust's terms, the siblings were entitled to income from age 21, with a third of the principal to be released at 30 — a threshold Prince will hit in just four months.
The estate has generated billions, among them $287.5 million from the sale of its EMI Music Publishing stake and $22 million from the Neverland Ranch sale.
The estate argues that a continuing IRS dispute, along with other unresolved legal matters, has prevented the trusts from being fully funded.
