'Patriot patrol' group films itself ordering black man off a Blackpool park bench for making women feel unsafe

Members of a self-styled 'Patriot Patrol' group in Blackpool filmed themselves approaching a young black man sitting on a bench in Thornton village green — scrolling on his phone with his bike beside him — and ordering him to move because nearby women and children allegedly did not feel safe around 'foreign men.' One of the group, carrying a can of Red Bull, told him: 'They don't feel safe with foreign men sitting staring at them unimpeded.' The man was not facing a children's playground and was not behaving suspiciously; he complied and left without incident.
The Blackpool Patriot Platform's Facebook page, set up five days ago, urges followers to report 'illegal migrants in your area' for 'peaceful patrols.'
The original post, captioned 'God wills it', has since been deleted, but the footage spread widely before removal.
The group claims ties to far-right activist Danny Tommo, who was recently remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to slashing a migrant dinghy in the Channel.
