Ken Paxton says James Talarico wants to 'transition our kids' in duelling Fort Worth rallies as Texas early voting opens

Democrat James Talarico hit back on Monday, branding his Republican rival 'the most corrupt politician in Texas' at his own Fort Worth rally. Paxton, the state attorney general, brought in Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr to endorse him on stage. Talarico holds a marginal lead in the polling averages. Texas has not sent a Democrat to the Senate since 1993.

Paxton's punchline: 'transition him and his crazy ideas right out of Texas.'

Elon Musk has reportedly spent nearly $190 million on the Senate race backing Paxton.

Some Houston-suburb Republican women say Paxton's bitter divorce has them weighing a Democrat vote.
