Pennsylvania doctor feared she was being drugged before she was murdered, and a colleague says her daughter, 7, delivered drinks daily
Dr Julia Pederson, 41, became lethargic, dizzy and migrainous after the drinks her estranged husband Jonathan Gatto and their daughter dropped off, a colleague told investigators. In a September 10 message she told her mother she could barely walk. She cancelled five patients' appointments. Her bloodwork was booked for October 10, the day she was found dead in Harrisburg.
Gatto, 42, is charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
A medical examiner ruled she died before the fire swept their home.
