Pentagon report reveals the clearest photo yet of China's secret 'divine dragon' space plane docked to a mystery satellite

The Defense Intelligence Agency's 130-page 'Challenges to Security in Space' report, released Monday, buried the sharpest image ever taken of Shenlong on page 53 — a 2024 satellite shot captured from 56 miles away at a resolution of just 1.8 inches per pixel, showing the craft's delta wings, open payload bay doors and rear-mounted solar arrays in unprecedented detail.
The DIA warns China will field space-based directed energy weapons capable of threatening satellites in higher orbits 'by the late 2020s.'
Shenlong has repeatedly released unidentified objects in low Earth orbit; intelligence firm LeoLabs confirmed in June that the craft ejected a new object during its current, fourth mission.
China's secret craft closely resembles the US Space Force's Boeing-built X-37B, which is currently more than 431 days into its own classified eighth mission.
