Pervert neighbour who fondled widow's bras and performed sex acts in his window pleads guilty after 11 years of terror

Robert May, 73, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency after subjecting 79-year-old widow Margaret Day to 11 years of sexual harassment at their housing complex in Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire. May was caught on camera sneaking into her garden to fondle her bras and masturbating naked in his flat window in full view of her home. He is due to be sentenced at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on October 19. Margaret's daughter Sue Mason-Day installed a Ring doorbell that captured the evidence ultimately used to convict him.

The abuse began when Margaret asked May to look after her birds on holiday — he replied he would only do it if she showed him her breasts.

May continued to harass Margaret even after her husband Brian died in December 2014, and the family refused his request to attend the funeral.

Sue Mason-Day, who has waived anonymity alongside her mother, said: 'It has been 11 years of hell for my mum.'
