Pet rabbit Peter is found dumped in a Hull car park after 'Russian' thieves joked about turning him into kebabs

CCTV shows a laughing man dangling nine-year-old Peter by his ears for more than 20 seconds outside Amy Grace's home on St Pauls Street. His companion filmed it on his phone. A Russian speaker who saw the video translated one man saying 'we'll make shashlik out of it.' Amy, 38, had popped to the shops with her son Harvey on Saturday afternoon and came home to find Peter gone.

Peter suffers from gut stasis and needs medication three times a day.

The thieves reportedly tried to sell him to a neighbour, who thought he was a wild rabbit.

Amy said: 'All I could do was scream and cry when I saw it.'
