Driver in her 70s is released from hospital after a man in his 30s dies in Wolverhampton Lidl crash

West Midlands Police say officers will speak to the driver in due course as detectives try to establish the cause of the crash. Sergeant Chloe Collins of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for dashcam footage from Finchfield Hill between 5pm and 6pm on Friday. Police want sightings of a blue Renault Zoe just before the collision. Two people are still in hospital with serious injuries.

Ambulance crews believe the driver suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

The victim received advanced life support but died inside the store.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
