Driver in her 70s leaves hospital as police seek dashcam footage of the fatal Wolverhampton Lidl crash

West Midlands Police say they will speak to the woman "in due course" after she was discharged on Saturday. Her blue Renault Zoe struck the Lidl on Finchfield Hill shortly before 6pm on Friday. A man in his 30s inside the store died at the scene. Investigators believe a medical episode behind the wheel may have caused the crash, and two people remain in hospital.

Sergeant Chloe Collins wants drivers who passed Finchfield Hill between 5pm and 6pm to come forward.

Police are not treating the man's death as suspicious.

Paramedics administered advanced life support, but were unable to save him.
