Police are to question the Wolverhampton Lidl crash driver, in her 70s, after she is released from hospital following a man's death

Sergeant Chloe Collins of West Midlands Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for dashcam footage recorded on Finchfield Hill between 5pm and 6pm on Friday. Officers want to hear from anyone who saw a blue Renault Zoe in the area shortly before it hit the store. Paramedics believe the driver had a medical episode while at the wheel. Two people remain in hospital with serious injuries.

The man in his 30s received advanced life support from paramedics but died at the scene despite their efforts.

Shopper Tina Bonev said: 'I saw the aisle flying into the air.'

Police have confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.
