Driver in her 70s is released from hospital as police hunt dashcam footage of the fatal Wolverhampton Lidl crash
Police are appealing for witnesses who saw a blue Renault Zoe shortly before it ploughed into the Lidl on Finchfield Hill at around 6pm on Friday. A man in his 30s died inside the store. Officers will speak to the driver in due course. Sergeant Chloe Collins of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit urged anyone travelling through the area between 5pm and 6pm to come forward.
Paramedics believe a medical episode caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Two people remain in hospital, including a woman left in a serious condition.
Shopper Tina Bonev said: 'I saw the aisle flying into the air.'
