Florida parents are outraged after police were called to a youth soccer game over their 'too good' three-year-old son

Nevada Pierre, a three-year-old boy from Florida, was benched mid-game by organisers of an i9 Sports league in Winter Park for "pushing" opponents and scoring too many goals, before police were called to Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Saturday 24 October. His mother Martasia Griffin and father Don Pierre say they stood apart from other parents throughout and did no wrong. The organiser told responding officers Nevada was "really good" but too physical, and demanded the family leave and receive a refund.

Released bodycam footage shows the organiser telling police: 'I just want him out. Immediately.'

Griffin told officers: 'They have issues with a 3-year-old' — adding that she and her husband never mingled with rival parents.

Police classified the episode as a 'civil matter', made no arrests and said the family was cooperative.
