Police find teenage burglary suspect, 17, hiding in a wheelie bin in Bolton and say he did a 'rubbish job'

Body-worn footage shows officers directing a torch beam at an overturned green bin on Ullswater Drive, Farnworth, with two black shoes visible sticking out. 'Oi, out you come now,' an officer shouts before the boy is dragged out by his legs and handcuffed. Greater Manchester Police received a call at 3.50am on Saturday after a group attempted to force entry into a garden shed. A 16-year-old girl faced arrest on suspicion of attempted burglary.

Following their arrests, both teenagers were released on bail.

Officers are still hunting other members of the gang believed to be involved.

Sergeant Emily Fogg vowed to 'seek justice for victims of this invasive crime'.
