Police hunt a prisoner who was jailed for an assault involving three emergency workers after he fled a medical unit

Officers lost sight of Lloyd at around 4.10pm on Friday as he left the Lewisham medical unit heading toward Catford. He had been transferred there from prison in September, midway through a 12-month sentence for actual bodily harm. Detective Superintendent Melanie Pressley, heading up the search, urged the public: 'Do not approach him.' Police are concerned he could now be anywhere across London.

Lloyd has connections to Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Merseyside.

Police say he 'poses a risk both to himself and the public'.

He is white, 5ft 8in, and was last seen in a grey-blue T-shirt and white trainers.
