Police hunt attacker with 'strong body odour' after a woman was 'sexually assaulted' while photographing the full moon in Lincoln

A woman in her 30s was struck on the back of the head and pulled to the ground at South Common in Lincoln at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, managing to flee and call police after sustaining minor injuries.

She had been photographing the full moon and city skyline when the attack unfolded halfway along the footpath between Cross O'Cliff Hill and Canwick Road.

The suspect is described as between 5ft 8in and 6ft tall, wearing a dark hooded top and jeans, with bad breath alongside the distinctive body odour.

Lincolnshire Police are urging anyone who was on South Common between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday evening to come forward, quoting incident 445 of October 27.
