Police hunt driver and passenger who fled after their car hit and killed a woman, 36, during a Leeds chase

The car was left on Nippet Lane after the driver made no attempt to stop, and at least two people fled the scene on foot.

West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team is leading the investigation and appealing for witnesses or dash-cam footage.

Because of prior police contact with the vehicle, a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been made.

The Corsa has been seized and is undergoing forensic examination as detectives work to identify those inside it.
