Police hunt Ethiopian national believed to have worn an orange wig at the time of a fatal Enfield pub shooting
Abreham Woldegiworgis, the Ethiopian national sought over the fatal shooting of Erdem Mustafa at an Enfield pub on 19 October, is believed to have since significantly altered his appearance.
Erdem Mustafa, 35, was killed by a gunshot at the Sun and Woolpack pub on Hertford Road, Enfield, on 19 October at around 9.30pm in what investigators consider to have been a deliberate, targeted killing. The Met has now named Abreham Woldegiworgis, 35, as a man urgently wanted for questioning, warning he has 'significantly altered his appearance' since appearing on CCTV. Woldegiworgis is an Ethiopian national linked to Enfield, Haringey and Brixton.
In one image, Woldegiworgis is wearing pink trousers, a hat worn low on his head, and a long ginger wig.
A 23-year-old man was separately arrested on 26 October on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and remains in custody.
The public is urged not to approach Woldegiworgis but to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 7050/19OCT26.
