'Police Interceptors' star Ben Sutcliffe is to face a misconduct hearing over claims he went dogging with a colleague while on duty

Ben Sutcliffe, a former Cleveland Police temporary sergeant who appeared in two seasons of Channel 5's 'Police Interceptors' in 2017 and 2018, is accused of having sex with a fellow officer in public places, 'knowing and intending that there be a risk of being caught.' He allegedly sent a large number of sexually explicit texts and images to the woman while on duty, to such an extent they interfered with his duties. Sutcliffe is due before an accelerated misconduct hearing next week, where he could be permanently barred from policing if the allegations are proved.
Sutcliffe is also accused of lying to bosses on multiple occasions when asked whether he was in a relationship with the female colleague.
He allegedly shared restricted and confidential police information with the officer without any lawful operational policing purpose.
The woman is said to have told Sutcliffe she would lie to the Professional Standards Department — and he is accused of failing to challenge her over it.
