Moments after playfighting with another youngster at Inham Nook Recreation Ground in Chilwell on 14 October, a child was verbally abused and then physically assaulted by a man Nottinghamshire Police are now trying to trace. Officers have released a CCTV image of him, though Inspector Usha Madaraa, speaking for the Broxtowe neighbourhood policing team, concedes the grainy still is 'not the best quality'.

'Absolutely no place whatsoever for behaviour of this kind in our communities,' says Inspector Usha Madaraa of Nottinghamshire Police.

Broxtowe neighbourhood policing team officers are leading the hunt for the man pictured in the grainy still.
