Police tease teenager over his 'rubbish' hiding spot after he is found in a wheelie bin following a Bolton shed break-in

Officers were called to reports of an incident at Ullswater Drive in Farnworth shortly before 4am on Saturday, where a group had tried to force entry into a garden shed and steal property. A foot chase and garden searches followed, and bodycam footage shows a pair of feet sticking out of a green bin lying on its side. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary, while a 16-year-old girl was held on suspicion of attempted burglary.

'Oi, out you come now,' an officer is heard shouting before the boy climbs out.

Sergeant Emily Fogg said the boy 'clearly did a rubbish job of hiding'.

Both teenagers are on bail while Greater Manchester Police hunt the rest of the gang.
