Poole vape shop manager who sexually abused teenage girls after giving them free e-cigarettes is jailed for eight years

Dilshaw Omar Kawani, 53, ran Parkstone Mini Market on Ashley Road and told the girls to call him 'Boss man'. A jury at Bournemouth Crown Court convicted him of seven offences, including sexual assault and inciting a child into sexual activity, against two victims. One girl said he touched her under her clothes after handing her a free vape in January 2025. The shop has since reopened under new management.

A second teenager said Kawani sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.

Dorset Police and Trading Standards shut the store and seized illegal vapes.

He was also handed a 12-year sexual harm prevention order.
