Popular puddings sold at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Asda are pulled from shelves because they 'may contain glass'

Arla Foods has recalled its Protein Pudding in three varieties — chocolate, salted caramel, and vanilla cookie — due to concerns that the pots may contain glass. The Food Standards Agency is urging customers to check the best before dates on any pots they have bought and not to eat them if affected. Shoppers can either throw the product away or return it to the store for a full refund. Notices will be posted in all retail outlets that stock the product.
Four batches of the chocolate variety, with best before dates running from 11 January to 6 February 2027, are covered by the recall.
Arla apologised, saying it 'understands the concern this may have caused'.
