Prince George is home from Eton for a 16-day 'long leave' after Kate admitted she had missed him

The 13-year-old arrived at Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park on Friday morning after six weeks boarding at the £65,673-a-year school. Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, have also broken up from Lambrook School. The Waleses are together as a family of five for the first time since George left. He is not due back at Eton until 8 November.

Shopper Denise Ashton, 68, said Kate told her: 'They may be going somewhere.'

Kate told a child at Café 98 in Hoveton: 'I can't wait to have them all home.'

Eton work that falls short earns a 'rip', where the top of the page is torn off.
