Prince George is home from Eton for his first 'long leave' after Kate admits she has missed him

The Princess of Wales opened up to Denise Ashton, 68, during a low-profile Thursday visit to Café 98 in Hoveton, Norfolk, about how much she had missed George, 13, who has now returned to the family at Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park for 16 days; Eton's long leave extends to 8 November. Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, have also come back following a two-week half-term break at Lambrook School.

Kate told a young shopper: 'I can't wait to have them all home.'

Ashton said the family 'may be going somewhere' over the break.

At Eton, a pupil whose work falls below standard receives a 'rip' — a punishment in which the upper portion of the page is removed.
