Prince Harry, 42, made a surprise appearance at the black-tie United for Freedom gala at the Imperial War Museum in London on Thursday night, smiling and waving in a tuxedo as he arrived alone. Meghan, 45, has not been seen publicly since the couple returned to the UK at the end of August — skipping yet another major engagement. Harry spoke about visits to Ukraine, telling guests: 'I have met people who have lost limbs, lost homes and lost loved ones, and yet somehow find the strength to rebuild.' The evening doubled as a diary clash with Prince William, who sent a video message to the inaugural Bowelbabe Fund Rebel Ball in west London just a few miles away.
Harry told the Ukraine gala: 'Resilience in Ukraine does not belong to any one group — it belongs to the whole country.'
Earlier on Thursday, Meghan launched a £112 advent calendar featuring 24 gourmet chocolates inspired by her Montecito home and garden.
