Prince Harry confirmed to have been paid up to $100,000 for MasterClass mental health talk

A source close to Prince Harry has confirmed he was paid for a MasterClass session on grief and mental health, with reports he received up to $100,000 (£75,500) plus a share of subscription revenues. Harry spoke with neuroscientist Dr Mary-Frances O'Connor in a session titled 'Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss', released on Thursday. The source refused to reveal the exact sum but insisted Harry should not be criticised for "speaking from the heart".

Harry revealed in the session he fell into two weeks of depression after arriving in Canada in 2019, saying he "couldn't function without adrenaline".

MasterClass instructors reportedly earn around $100,000 upfront plus 30% of revenues their classes generate.

The talk came as the Sussexes have returned to live in the UK after a six-year spell in the US.
