Prince Harry is 'disappointed' after Meghan rejects a UK Christmas and heads to the US amid her father's crisis

An insider tells Closer Online that Harry wanted to bring Meghan's mother Doria to their Cotswolds home and use it as a base to secure a Christmas invitation from King Charles or the Spencer family. Meghan rejected the plan outright, and Harry "ultimately didn't have much choice but to follow" her back to the US.
The couple left the UK after allegations — unproven and denied by Thomas Markle Sr. — that he possessed child sexual abuse images.
Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. reportedly discovered the material while clearing out their father's former home in Cebu and later apologised to Meghan for cutting off contact.
Prince William is expected to stay completely out of the crisis, with royal commentator Kinsey Schofield saying he will not 'engage at all' with Harry and Meghan.
