Prince Harry, 42, has kept the next two weeks free. He is "mindful" of King Charles's Caribbean tour — nine days long — and is steering clear of anything that could draw attention away from it. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who came back to the UK as private citizens in August, plan to use the half-term break to spend time with Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five. At least one joint public appearance is still expected before the end of the year.

Charles, 77, set off on October 27, taking in the Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

Harry "doesn't set out with an intention to try to pull focus" but needs "decent foresight" of the royal diary to avoid clashes.

Harry is also reportedly watching Prince William's November 17 Earthshot Prize trip to India as he maps out his own schedule.
