'The guy is just a machine,' Prince William told BBC Breakfast, admitting he worries about Sir Kevin Sinfield's knees and hips. The 46-year-old was among 60 people William honoured at Windsor Castle after running seven ultra-marathons in seven days for MND. The challenge was driven by his late Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow. William praised him as a 'decent northerner' with 'no ego'.

William and Kate surprised Sir Kevin in Wakefield on day three of his challenge.

William revealed he wrote to Rob Burrow's widow Lindsey and children Macy, Maya and Jackson.

William's verdict on Sir Kevin: 'The more Kevs we have in this country the better.'
