Prisoner jailed for attacking three emergency workers is on the run after breaking out of a London medical unit

Anthony Lloyd, 38, walked out of the unit in Lewisham at around 4.10pm on Friday and was last seen heading toward Catford. He was serving 12 months for actual bodily harm arising from a 2025 Nottinghamshire incident and had been moved from prison to the facility in September. Detective Superintendent Melanie Pressley urged the public: 'Do not approach him.'

The Met says Lloyd 'poses a risk both to himself and the public'.

Police consider him potentially at large anywhere across London or seven other counties and regions.

At the time he was last seen, his clothing consisted of a grey-blue T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
