A Dassault Falcon 50 aborted its takeoff from Runway 1L at Harry Reid International Airport at around 11am on Sunday, departing the paved surface to the right and beyond its end. Airport officials reported no known injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration imposed a ground stop, citing an 'aircraft emergency', and both Runway 1L and 1R were closed for inspection, leaving travellers facing significant delays.

The tri-engine business jet belongs to Jacks Wings LLC, based in Boca Raton, Florida.
