Passenger Uddin Alim described a "frightening situation" as two men exchanged punches over seats on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London, leaving one man's T-shirt torn open in the process. Among those on board were children and elderly passengers, and screams filled the cabin before fellow travellers left their seats to step in and crew finally restored order.

Airline public relations chief Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the brawl, saying cabin crew 'resolved the situation between them.'

Alim said victims had 'nothing to do with the situation' but 'had to witness this behaviour' at cruising altitude with no means of escape.
