Putin agrees 'in principle' to resume three-way Ukraine peace talks with the US after November 10, Kremlin says

Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said a new round could be held around 10 November in Abu Dhabi. The talks were suspended in February, and the Kremlin blamed 'massive' Ukrainian strikes during Russia's elections. The breakthrough came after nearly three hours with Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff in St Petersburg. Ushakov insisted any talks must focus on 'building a security system for Russia and Ukraine'.
Steve Witkoff told Putin: 'You are humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that.'
Volodymyr Zelensky says he backs a ceasefire and trilateral talks with the US and Russia.
Putin also floated meeting Trump in China next month, possibly alongside Xi Jinping.
