Queen Camilla shares a warm embrace with Zara Tindall at Ascot as the royals cheer on British Champions Day
Queen Camilla selected Talk Of New York as the best-presented horse, and the colt went on to take the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. Camilla was all smiles during the presentation as jockey William Buick received the trophy. The Godolphin-owned colt is trained by Charlie Appleby. British Champions Day closes the Flat season and carries £4.35 million in prize money, making it the wealthiest race day in the country.
Andrew Parker Bowles, Camilla's ex-husband, was seen in the Royal Box.
Saffie Osborne, the first woman to ride a British Classic winner, described meeting the Queen as 'a real honour'.
Zara Tindall, 45, wore grey tweed with a brown leather skirt, and husband Mike was by her side.
