Queen Elizabeth's childhood Pied Piper collage, signed 'by Lilibet', is to go under the hammer in Canada for £6,000

Princess Elizabeth was just eight when she crayoned the piper, children, trees and houses, then cut them out and glued them onto a larger sheet at Christmas 1934. The Queen Mother began writing 'Eliz' on the back of the frame before crossing it out for her daughter's formal title. Waddingtons in Toronto will offer it on 22 October. Specialist Sean Quinn says he has 'high hopes for it'.
In the 1950s an unnamed royal aide gave it to Palace removals man James Ryan.
Quinn says it proves the Queen 'was once a little girl called Lilibet who liked to colour'.
An earlier letter by the young princess fetched £25,000 against a £4,000 estimate.
