Charley Wright, 34, of Garden Crescent, Alfreton, Derbyshire, admitted every charge at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 26 October and received 32 weeks the same day. Her spree began on 1 September, when she took around £200 worth of cheese from a Sherwood Co-op and threatened staff who challenged her.

Sergeant Alex Thomas, of Nottinghamshire Police, called the aggression and abuse Charley Wright displayed 'completely unacceptable'.

'Hate crime can have a long-lasting and damaging impact on individuals and communities,' warned Sergeant Alex Thomas of Nottinghamshire Police.

All of Charley Wright's offences, including the cheese theft, came while she was already serving a suspended sentence.
