Ramaswamy faces backlash after mother who stayed wed to Amy Acton's accused abuser brands her a 'liar' in Ohio ad

Meghan McCain called the clip 'dastardly', saying 'shame on whatever consultant firm created this.' The video carries no 'paid for' tag and appears in neither the Meta nor Google ad archives. Vivek Ramaswamy's spokesperson Connie Luck did not take credit for it but called Amy Acton a 'serial fabulist'. Donna Arthur, Acton's mother, says in the ad: 'Don't let her become your governor.'

Cledith Arthur was arrested in 1978 on a rape charge involving the young Acton.

Brother Philip Stearns: their mother 'stayed married to Amy's rapist until he died.'

Ramaswamy once said Acton only complains 'about what someone else did to her.'
