'Ready to ditch two-state solution': Arab-Israeli kingmaker signals a shift as voters aim to eject Netanyahu on October 27

Arab-Israeli voters could decide whether Benjamin Netanyahu keeps power when Israel votes on 27 October. The country's wider electorate is shifting right. A poll for Israel Hayom forecasts nine seats for Itamar Ben-Gvir's Jewish Strength party. That would put it ahead of the Democrats, led by Yair Golan, on eight. More than 500,000 Israelis have reached voting age since the last election in 2022.

Three-quarters of first-time Jewish voters call themselves right or centre-right, a Channel 12 poll found.
