'Real Snoop would never do that': Martha Stewart scolds Craig Melvin after he stains her $3,000 trousers on US TV

Martha Stewart, 85, was appearing on NBC's 'Today' Halloween special on Friday when co-host Craig Melvin accidentally drizzled chocolate ganache from a leaking piping bag onto her £3,000 white trousers. The segment was part of NBC's 100th anniversary celebrations, with Melvin dressed as Snoop Dogg and Stewart recreating her own famous white Olympics outfit.

Stewart had been showing Melvin, Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly how to decorate a Halloween cheesecake with a spiderweb design.

Melvin apologised repeatedly, telling Stewart, 'I just feel so bad that I destroyed your $3,000 pants' — she replied, 'Don't worry about it, they wash.'

The chocolate also hit her shoes, with Melvin later spotting the second stain and drawing the audience's attention to it.
