Reform mayor is investigated by police over claims he showed a female staffer 'naked pictures' of himself

A senior female officer says that when she was shown four 'naked and sexualised images' on a computer in a central Hull office in May, her visible embarrassment was met with laughter. Her permanent job offer was pulled three weeks later in an eight-minute Teams call. Humberside Police interviewed Campbell under caution this month, though no arrest or charge has followed. Reform says he 'firmly denies the allegations'.

Reform describes her as 'a disgruntled employee attempting to leverage a settlement'.

A witness says Campbell and two male colleagues called her over to look at his laptop.

Campbell, 39, took Olympic boxing gold in 2012 and became Hull and East Yorkshire mayor in 2025.
