Reform slips to third behind the Tories as Labour surges to an eight-point lead in a new Ipsos poll

Reform has dropped three points to 20 per cent, while Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives have climbed to 24 per cent, returning to second place for the first time since June 2025. A year ago Reform was polling above 30 per cent. Keiran Pedley of Ipsos said 'the tectonic plates have been shifting' on the right. Robert Jenrick insisted Reform remains 'clearly the main opposition to Labour'.

Andy Burnham's Labour stands at 32 per cent ahead of John Healey's first Budget this week.

Electoral Calculus projects the figures would give Labour a majority of 134 MPs.

Reform is now losing 15 per cent of its 2024 voters to the Tories, up from six.
