A year-long ITV undercover operation caught eight Reform UK councillors and candidates on camera making violent, racist and misogynistic remarks, forcing three resignations and triggering suspensions across the party. Alan Feeney, Reform's deputy mayor of Solihull, appeared on film calling Asian families "absolute parasites" and demanding they be removed from their homes and expelled to Pakistan. Dean Miller, a Reform councillor elected to Bromley Council in May, was recorded arguing that King Charles deserved to be beheaded "because he is a Muslim". Nigel Farage has put back a major announcement that had been scheduled for Essex on Thursday, as the party scrambles to contain the fallout ahead of the full documentary, which airs on Sunday.
Feeney also stated "no more than 1% of the British population can be non-white" and referred to his own door-knocking technique as "Alan's racist canvassing".
Labour chair Bridget Phillipson described the footage as "truly sickening" and said Farage "can't shrug these latest revelations off as being a few bad apples".
Reform accused ITV of "extreme methods of deception" but conceded "there is no room for racism in Reform UK".
