An ITV undercover investigation filmed over a year has exposed Reform UK councillors and candidates making racist, violent and sexist remarks, triggering a wave of resignations and suspensions across England. Solihull deputy mayor Alan Feeney called Asian families "absolute parasites" and said they should be "dragged out of their homes" and flown to Pakistan. A separate councillor said King Charles should be "beheaded" for being "a Muslim". Prime Minister Andy Burnham demanded Reform take "immediate and firm action" against those exposed.
Farage, who called the sting an establishment plot "to get us out of the picture", postponed a major Essex announcement as the party braced for more revelations, including footage from inside Reform's UK headquarters.
Two Leeds councillors, David Dresser and Paula-Jane Thackray, quit Reform after being suspended, forming a breakaway group called Leeds First Independents — on top of earlier resignations in Solihull, Bromley and Doncaster.
Labour chair Bridget Phillipson called the footage "truly sickening" and said Farage "can't shrug these off as a few bad apples", demanding every member exposed be thrown out immediately.
