Makayla Craig, who police say posed as a homeless 17-year-old named Molly to enrol at a Minnesota high school, told officers she had never attended school and wanted to get the full experience.

Makayla Craig allegedly claimed to be Molly, a homeless 17-year-old from Oregon, at Maple Grove Senior High School near Minneapolis. Craig told police of never attending school and wanting to 'get the full experience'. Suspicious staff alerted officers, and Craig was arrested on a parking ramp on Thursday. Police say Craig never set foot on campus as a student.

In 2024 Craig got 40 days in jail for posing as a 15-year-old named Madison.

Craig allegedly told police of fearing being mistaken for the sex offender Makayla Craig.

Craig was convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in 2023 and faces felony forgery charges.
