Richard E Grant became the first star banished from Celebrity Traitors series two after committing what host Claudia Winkleman called the biggest slip-up in the show's history — openly telling fellow contestant Joe Lycett he was a Traitor. Grant received 16 of a possible 20 votes at the Round Table, with even fellow Traitors Maya Jama and James Acaster turning on him to protect themselves. Ross Kemp, 62, stole the episode by pounding the table and screaming 'get in there!' as Grant's identity was confirmed.
Grant told cameras: 'I have managed to checkmate myself, which, as far as I'm aware, has never been done.'
Jerry Hall, 70, and Professor Hannah Fry landed on the murder shortlist after a graveyard challenge went wrong for the pair.
The full celebrity line-up includes Michael Sheen, Maya Jama and Ross Kemp competing for up to £100,000 for charity.
