Rob Beckett is murdered face-to-face by Celebrity Traitors as he vows Romesh Ranganathan will 'avenge his death'

Comedian Rob Beckett has become the third faithful to be eliminated from Celebrity Traitors after traitors Maya Jama, James Acaster and Hannah Fry picked him off during a dramatic woodland hide-and-seek game. Beckett, 40, came face-to-face with the cloaked killers and took his murder with characteristic good humour. Leigh-Anne Pinnock was spared after her fellow faithfuls gave her the immunity key, leaving Beckett, Ross Kemp and Romesh Ranganathan exposed.
Acaster admitted choosing Beckett precisely because it would be the 'random choice' — designed to sow maximum confusion among the remaining faithfuls.
Ranganathan said he felt he had 'let Rob down', calling Beckett one of his best friends and admitting 'it's not going to be the same without him.'
James Acaster also claimed the show edited out a key exchange that explains why Coronation Street's Julie Hesmondhalgh was banished the previous week — leaving viewers with a distorted picture of events.
