Rob Beckett murdered face-to-face as Hannah Fry is banished and YouTuber King Kenny recruits as a traitor in Celebrity Traitors episode five

Thursday's Celebrity Traitors delivered its most explosive episode yet, with comedian Rob Beckett murdered in a face-to-face hide-and-seek ambush in the woods, mathematician Hannah Fry banished by her own fellow traitors, and YouTuber King Kenny recruited to replace her. Beckett, chosen as the 'random' victim by James Acaster because his death would sow maximum confusion, grinned on discovering his killers: 'My boy Romesh Ranganathan will avenge my death.' Fry confessed at the roundtable, telling contestants she had 'calculated every conceivable scenario except for the one that actually unfolded.'
King Kenny, real name Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, accepted the traitors' offer but immediately demanded loyalty: 'Just don't do me dirty.'
Ross Kemp found himself under suspicion after the traitors used him as a decoy, prompting Joanne McNally to declare he had 'not blinked' since arriving.
James Acaster has separately revealed that a key scene explaining Julie Hesmondhalgh's banishment last week was cut from the broadcast, with an exchange twisted into 'evidence of lying.'
