James Acaster, 41, who had been recruited as a reluctant Traitor by Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant despite only ever wanting to play as a Faithful.A clip shared on X of James Acaster's roundtable confession — the first time any contestant has self-outed in the show's history without a vote being called.
Comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian 'Bash' Croft took home the prize for their charities after the Faithfuls finally rooted out both Traitors in Friday's BBC finale. Maya Jama was banished at the final round table after even her fellow Traitor King Kenny voted against her, sealing his own fate moments later when Romesh and Bash sent him packing at the firepit.
Michael Sheen, 57, was murdered at the opening of the finale — the kill that ultimately backfired on the Traitors by alerting the Faithfuls to Maya.
James Blunt also reached the final three but was voted off by his own Faithfuls after insisting on a second vote, costing him a share of the charity prize.
Croft said winning 'might actually be the best day of my life', while Ranganathan dedicated the victory to his youngest son Charlie, who had urged him to enter.
