Richard Tur de la Concepcion, First Secretary of Cuba's UN delegation, will be put on a plane to Havana within 24 hours after Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed expulsion paperwork. The physical confrontation erupted on Tuesday when Tur de la Concepcion lunged at US spokesman JP Freire and tried to snatch the iPhone Freire was using to film the row.

Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez had already broken UN decorum by marching to the podium and screaming 'You are a liar!' at Waltz.

Waltz had provoked the Cuban delegation by holding up a photo of Fidel Castro wearing two Rolexes worth an estimated $40,000.

'You lay a hand on an American here in the United States — we're not gonna stand for it,' Waltz warned on Fox News.
