Russell Brand rape trial hears accuser told her mother he did not stop even when she screamed in pain
Russell Brand denies seven charges involving six women between 1999 and 2009; an accuser has told jurors he treated her "like a piece of meat" and ignored her pleas to stop.
The woman told a colleague that Brand shouted 'look what you've done to my f****** sheets' afterwards, Southwark Crown Court heard. On Thursday, jurors received evidence from 24 friends, relatives and colleagues of the 2009 Hammersmith Apollo fan. A number of them encouraged her to report the matter to police, though she was afraid she would not be believed. Brand, 51, denies three counts of rape, three of sexual assault and one of indecent assault.
A friend said Brand closed his show joking 'my age range is from 16 to death'.
Her parents said she confided in them and was afraid she had contracted HIV.
A friend said she went 'white as a sheet', fearing he had 'tracked her down' at the Edinburgh Fringe.
